December Giveaway – Gift Bag from Fiber One Nonfat Yogurt
With the holidays here, it is definitely tough to stay on track of our diet when all we do is eat a ton of good food from all the festivities around us. I try to snack smart by having yogurt and other low fat options in my fridge. To make eating yogurt a little more fun, I sometimes freeze them and eat it like it’s a slushy when it gets a little defrosted. Anyway, Fiber One and the people at MyBlogSpark was nice enough to send us a gift bag full of goodies, which includes a VIP coupon good for a 4-pack of Fiber-One Yogurt, a cooler pack, and other storage items for on-the-go activities.
We have an extra gift bag with everything shown in the picture for one lucky reader! Can that be you? Well, here’s what you need to do to enter – leave us a comment letting us know what you do to be healthy. How do you manage your weight – do you have any diet secrets?? I’d love to know! Be sure to also be a subscriber of our blog so you will get updates on all monthly giveaways!
Contest ends a week from today – December 10th. Good luck and happy holidays!

The biggest weight loss secret I have is to have a great support system. I talk on a lot of weight loss forums and this helps because I can get tips and chat with a lot of people who are dealing with the same issues.

We have cut meat out of our diet, not exclusively but to a great extent. That makes a difference since I substitute vegetables for the meat.

I walked during my lunch hours at work. I usually watch my sugar intake. Every time I bake something I reduce the sugar level to 50% listed in the recipe. The same goes for milk (I used 2% and non-fat cream cheese, ect. When I cook poultry, I take all the skins and extra FAT off. When I make broth, I usually make the broth a day in advance and let its sit in the fridge. The next morning, I take off all the FAT on top of the broth. Also, I don’t drink sodas. I just drink water. And I usually eat small portions but multiple meals per day. If there is a party that I got invited to, I usually eat something first before I go. This way I won’t be so hungry when I get there and start munching on stuff I am not suppose to. And I don’t eat after 8p.m. I have been doing this for the longest time. Therefore, I don’t need to go on a diet or anything. I just eat right and do the right thing. email : trucvyzoe@gmail.com .

I pack my own food and I’m fortunate enough to live in a city where it’s feasible for me to walk everywhere. Also, sprinting for the bus is an invigorating way to kick off the day — haha!
During my lunch break at work, I take a walk at the local park. Its both de-stressing and good for me!
I try to run at least 3 miles and play 3 hours+ of BEACH volleyball a week. Eating a bowl of cereal in the morning helps to lower my greasy food intake of the day too (by avoiding frying up some eggs or bacon-or likely both in the morning). =)
I try to maintain a healthy lifestyle by drinking lots of water, eating right, and walking
*Thanks* for the giveaway!
I practice portion control. I eat whatever I want (But try to make it healthy!) but just don’t eat too much of it. I don’t even exercise and I’ve been able to maintain my weight.

So many people overlook fiber in their diet, we need more articles like this to raise awareness of this problem! It isn’t hard to get the amount we need, loads of food has it like bread and some rices.
