Forget Red Lobster – We Have Lobsterfest at Home!
We were fortunate enough to receive a live Maine lobster flew in from Boston. It was definitely a pleasant surprise, and believe me, we took our time to enjoy this special meal!

The lobster had its own special packaging, which was actually a carry-on in the plane.

This bad boy weighed in at 4.2 lbs. He was still breathing on our countertop. Yikes!

I don't think this lobster wanted to get into this hot salty bath we prepared for him.

As you can see, it wasn't easy getting him in!

You can't have lobster without clarified butter. This butter sauce was infused with minced garlic and fresh cracked pepporcorns, and a squeeze of lemon juice. To eat alongside the lobster, we also made penne pasta tossed in sundried tomatoes, red onions, fresh parsley, and a blend of parmesan and mozarella cheese.

After 22 minutes in boiling water, we took the lobster out and prepared to feast on it. It doesn't get better than this!
Words can’t really express how delicious and heavenly this lobster was. We enjoyed every morsel and to be honest, I wanted more! There is nothing better than having a huge Maine lobster right in the comfort of your own home. I’ll forgo the fancy restaurants any day.

What a pleasant surprise it was for me to visit Krissy and Daniel and get to their house to see…. a lobster the size of Arnold Schwartzenneger’s forearm!! This is, no kidding, the biggest lobster I had ever eaten, and the pictures don’t even do it justice: it was even better than it looked! Mammoth chunks of lobster meat dipped in a garlic butter sauce… I’m still thinking about it now!!
Andy, it was a pleasure having you for dinner – afterall, we couldn’t possibly finish that huge lobster ourselves! Thank you for washing the dishes, LOL.
