Looking Back at Past Dishes
Because this blog went “live” a little later than we wanted, there are pictures of food we cooked a while back that we want to share with you guys. The captions will best explain what you’re looking at.

One night we decided to make pizza! Of course, Daniel being the meat-lover he is, did half of his side with pepperoni, onions, olives, and mushrooms.

This was my yummy slice! No meat necessary! I had put pineapple, olives, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, cilantro, and japalenos on my vegetarian side! That's what I call a Supreme!

So I was reading Fitness Magazine one day, and saw a recipe for chocolate chip cookies (the healthy version!). Since I'm not a fan of chocolate chips, I tweaked the recipe by adding walnuts instead. I loved these cookies!! Not too sweet, and very moist!

Daniel and I went to 99 Ranch Market to shop for groceries and decided to make pork chowfun. It's a fun and easy recipe - something I learned from my mom. To get the flavor? We used oyster sauce!

Okay, by now you all think I'm a health freak! But hey, I have to have my daily dose of fiber! I usually always prepare the veggie part of our dinner, so that night I made a dijon balsamic vinaigrette dressing for the salad, and added some additional fresh toppings.

With all our great meals, we never forget about our baby Chester. Yes, we do cook for him separately. (Spoiled!!) His cuisine here is just some meat with veggies - but we think it's way healthier than the processed dog food! (Nutro is ok though).

This is my mom's recipe - salmon in fish sauce and Coco soda. I know it sounds funky, but it tastes really good! I had learned this recipe before moving in with Daniel, so now he makes this for me, haha. Salmon is one of my favorite fishes to eat!

To eat along with the salmon, I made a quick stir fry with carrots and snowpeas. It's good for you!

Daniel grows fresh herbs in the backyard and decided to pick a few branches of rosemary for this dish. You're looking at the chicken being cooked in stock reduction.

The rosemary chicken gets plated and topped off with cilantro. Then devoured...
