May Giveaway – Elemaris Water Filtration Pitcher

Published by at 4:11 pm under Contests and Giveaways

It’s the last day of the month and I’m finally able to post the May giveaway. Like I always say, better late than never! You guys will really like this month’s freebie!

MAVEA , the North-American division of Brita Germany, just came out with a sleek, new design for a premium water filtration pitcher called the Elemaris. The Elemaris comes in five different colors: Eggplant, Ruby-red, Sage, Black or White.

We received the white one of our choice and have been using the pitcher to filter our tap water to drink everyday. Before this, we were using the reversed osmosis filter for the water dispenser in our fridge, but have been too busy to replace the filter. We then resorted to water bottles which is very costly and very bad for the environment. I am liking the new water pitcher more and more because I know I am not being wasteful by using the plastic water bottles. Check out Inspired Water for water tips and why water matters.

This 9-glass water capacity pitcher has a silver-treated filter which discourages bacteria growth. The Smart Meter filter change indicator measures water hardness, water volume, and length of time in use. It’s made of BPA-free plastic and the used filters can be recycled. And of course, it is also dishwasher safe! We absolutely love our water pitcher because it’s so easy to use, the water tastes great, and the design is really modern and sleek!

The Smart Meter

You can purchase this regularly for about $30-$40, but we are going to give THREE (3) of them away for free to 3 different winners! Enter for your chance to win!

I usually drink bottled water. 6 to 8 bottles a day. Would love to win this product to help reduce my bottle water usage.

I usually drink tap water, and bottled water on occasion. I hate the waste created by bottled water, so I would absolutely love to try out this Mavea water filtration system! The office I work in goes through way too many bottles of water a day, and I would make the water pitcher the official office water source from now on!

Currently using the Pur water system at home and Sparklett’s at work.

Well water from fridge or bottled water. Would love to win this!

I get my water through the refrigerator filter, although, it doesn’t do that great of a job. Otherwise, I buy bottled water on occasion – like traveling. I’m allergic to chlorine so I have to at least get chlorine-free water. You should select me because I was “green” long before green was cool!

We drink bottled water. I would like to win this so that I can stop buying bottled water.

I use lrg bottled water containers which I refill but this would be sooo perfect in my tiny little place AKA the “Hallway”. I really want to reduce my plastic use but I am on well water and there is no way this h2o can be drunk from the tap

  11. Cindyon 31 May 2011 at 5:29 pm

I am a email subscribed. We drink tab water, because we could no longer afford bottled. I heard a lot about different types of filter pitchers and always wanted to try one out.

  12. Athenaon 31 May 2011 at 5:35 pm

I drink water from a water filtered pitcher. I really need another pitcher because I drink a lot of water and my pitcher doesn’t hold that much. I’m constantly refilling it, and it would be nice to have a back up filtered pitcher.

  13. conradon 31 May 2011 at 5:40 pm

i always just drink tap water. always carry my klean reusable bottle. but i’m always reading about the chemicals in city filtration systems. this would be a great filtration system for myself & family.

  14. eric samsonon 31 May 2011 at 6:05 pm

i currently drink H2O from both a fridge filtration water dispenser, but mostly bottled water. i should win because i’m moving in a week and my new (it’s actually old but comes with the apt.) fridge does not have a filtration system and two i’d like to save money and the environment by using a water filtration pitcher. besides saving money and the environment, i could also save my own life by not drinking l.a. water straight from the tap!

    I subscribe to your blog.

I currently drink tap water at work and at home. I use a water bottle at work and I keep water bottles in the fridge at home. I really need a water filtration pitcher because it would be great to filter my water and to have a nice cold pitcher in the fridge instead of random water bottles! Looks like such a nice pitcher!

We purchase filtered water by the gallon…you don’t really know what you’re getting and it is a bit of a pain to have to run out for water when you get low.

  17. Jamieon 31 May 2011 at 8:40 pm

Wow, what a beautiful pitcher, I love the look. I brought bottle water but it’s became a waste, the bottle was never completely finish by the kids and they open another one each time their are thirsty. At the end of the day, I had to empty the bottle in the sink and recycled the bottle. It will be great to had a pitcher for the kids to had fresh cold water anytime.

  18. Leslie Fechteron 31 May 2011 at 8:45 pm

I live in Glendale, California and currently use tap water. We could sure use a filtration pitcher like this. The water here is very hard… lots of minerals, and I am sure that our water could taste so much better when filtered.

Would be great to keep in the fridge and have cold water! Right now our ice machine doesn’t work either!

  19. Nancee Brittonon 31 May 2011 at 10:09 pm

I would love to win this! Currently we use bottled water, which is wasteful and horrible for the environment, but when we are broke we use the Santa Ana tap water. I would like to win this for my daughter, Brianna and her two beautiful girls. They deserve the best tasting water.

I currently use a Brita pitcher with those expensive filters but I worry that the water still isn’t as safe as it could be. I’d love to experience the difference by winning this Elemaris water filtration pitcher.

  21. Brandyon 01 Jun 2011 at 6:52 am

At work, we have a filtration system that I use. At home, I have a small brita pitcher that needs to be filled at least twice an evening. Sometimes, if I am desperate, I will just drink straight from the faucet, but that doesn’t happen often

I love the look of this one and would definitely love to try it! I would probably drink more if I didn’t have to refill it as much as the brita

  22. Eileenon 01 Jun 2011 at 8:23 am

I use the original brita pitcher that I “inherited” from my grandma in 2005. Time for something new I think!

  23. Peteron 01 Jun 2011 at 9:16 am

I currently get my water by the 5 gallon jugs. I bring the jugs to water dispensaries and get them filled for $0.25-$0.35 a gallon. I also drink from water bottles so I really hope I win!

  24. Deeon 01 Jun 2011 at 9:58 am

I am starting to drink a lot of water so I have the faucet flter but boy does it get in the way when I am doing dishes. I would like to win this because it will help with my weight loss goals.

  25. Triciaon 01 Jun 2011 at 11:50 am

I drink from the tap….I hate the idea of plastic bottled water.

  26. LeeAnn P.on 01 Jun 2011 at 12:09 pm

we drink from the tap which 1) tastes awful, which in turn means 2) I feel dehydrated most of the time and 3) with the weather already at 90 + I really Need to drink more water but… see #1 :/
I need this awsome pitcher to help me through the sweltering summer monthe here in NC!

I have a camp in Ohio. The water out of the tap is awful. full of metal taste. We go camping alot and have to buy jugs of water. It would be so nice to have fresh water in the refidgerator instead of purchasing plastic bottles that are just bad for the environment. I have 2 teenage girls that consune alot of water and they are so active at our campground. they need to stay hydrated and this would be the perfect addition to our camp.Plus we wouldnt have so much waste with the plastic bottles. I would love to win this. : )

I am 19 and curerently a Penn State student. I am involved in alot of activities and being a student dont make a ton of money. I exercise alot and I always drink plenty of water. I have a refillable bottle but have to use tap water that I know has alot of not so healthy things in it. It would be great to just pour a nice cool glass of fresh, clean water into my bottle for when I go to the gym, or go to work at the daycare. It would also be nice to keep this at the daycare I work at since the kids are always thirsty. I would feel much better giving them fresh water than water from the tap. It has a much better fresher crisp taste from a water filter than from the sink. Please help out this starving student : )

  32. kelly Hon 02 Jun 2011 at 5:54 am

    sorry i posted twice. didnt think it went through : ( I need a drink…………of water : )

  33. Cassandraon 02 Jun 2011 at 8:13 pm

I use bottled water because we have incredibly hard water here in West Texas. Also the filters from my old Dupont pitcher are no longer made, so I can’t use my current filter pitcher at all. I would love to be selected to receive this pitcher because 1) it would help reduce my carbon footprint because I’d be using less plastic bottles, 2) I could save money because I won’t be purchasing water bottles, which is important for a starving graduate student! and 3) I would have cold, fresh water for myself whenever I am done with workouts or field work, so I will be able to continue the healthy habit of drinking my 8 8-oz glasses of water.

having recently developed health issues drinking water for me now is a must. i do hope i win this pitcher, i hope to god it gives my tap water a better taste. getting the meds down and creating a healthier diet, is a must!

  35. Julieon 04 Jun 2011 at 2:58 am

I am a college student, trying to stay fit and healthy. I am currently using a water filter pitcher. However the one I use, does not seem to be doing it’s job well. The taste is unpleasing and black charcoal bits are in my water. I would like to try the Water Filtration Pitcher by Mavea and compare it to the one I currently use. I am anticipating that it will be much better!

Because of the low quality filter pitcher I currently have right now, I am unmotivated to drink water and have been spending a lot in purchasing bottled water.

    Thank you!

~ I am an email subscriber

~ Bottled water when we can afford to stock up, but then we just have to drink it out of the tap.

~ I need to win this because I don’t have the funds to keep buying bottled water (and I don’t like all the waste the bottles create), but our tap water is just gross and most of the time it has a brown tint to it. Our town has a high concentration of cancer victims, and a lot of people are claiming it is the water due to it being an old coal mining town. I really just want to have piece of mind when I give my kids a glass of water.

  37. Rachelon 05 Jun 2011 at 5:29 am

I would love this just because I’m using (still) a 1st-generation Brita pitcher. We have such hard water that while our tap water tastes okay to me, I do get concerned about what all is in it. I don’t buy bottled water (too expensive and wasteful), but I got through a pitcher-ful just myself each day. I’d love something more updated & sleek!

Subscriber. I currently drink the city water straight from the tap…yuck. I drink a LOT of water, so I’d love to have a filtration system to keep all those nasties out of MY system!

I go through tons of water bottles a day. I have a bunch of arrowhead cases stacked up in my room. Being a college student and living in Riverside, I would love to win this prize.

I drink tap water even though it doesn’t taste all that great. Am currently looking for a better alternative

This would be something that I would love to be a part of if you are still looking for people to give these away to!
