November Giveaway – Nature Valley Gift Pack
This month we have an awesome giveaway for our readers! We received a promotional gift pack from Nature Valley recently which included 4 packs of Nut Clusters – Roasted Almond, Roasted Cashew, Honey Roasted Peanuts, and Nut Lovers. In addition to the snack bags, we also got the backpack, binoculars, thermos, and a flashlight. This is absolutely perfect for someone who likes to hike or camp, as these are some essential things that you could take with you on your journey.
So what did we do with this? Well, we didn’t have an opportunity to use the non-perishable goodies yet, but we did take the Nut Clusters with us to Europe to snack on during our travels. It definitely filled a void in our stomachs when we were hungry and needed a healthy snack. We always had a bag in our backpack and it surely came in handy. I can’t wait to use the rest of the stuff the next time we do something outdoorsy.
So who wants to win this sweet prize this month? You’ll get the entire prize pack as shown below in the picture directly from Nature Valley. Here’s the simple rules ~ and trust me, it’ll be simple. Just leave a comment letting us know how you plan to use this gift pack if you win it. We’ll choose the most creative comment on Monday, November 9th!

Nature Valley - November Giveaway Contest

If I win this delightful package I will take my granddaughter, Cammi Pie, someplace adventurous so she can share the goodies with me. Also it would make a special birthday gift as I celebrate my birthday on Monday, November 9.
LA has great hiking trails, and we both like to hit up the trails. These would be great snacks for the times when you’re out a little too long, and you’re big hungry!
Apres’ hike snack for us here in southeast Alaska! The temps are in the low 40s and it gets dark at 4:30pm!! Die hard hikers use small headlights to hike after work.
I would love to win….I would take it with me walking on the beach, and ending in a picnic of goodies!
During the coming school holidays my three nephews are going on their first ever camping with me as their chaperone. This gift pack would indeed come in handy on our night out.
This looks like the perfect pack and selection of snacks to take on one of our family winter snowshoes this year. We try to find a spot with the freshest, untouched snow. Usually, the birds are chirping and the views are gorgeous as we tromp through the snow-covered trees.
Recently my boyfriend and I have started trying to lose weight. We are both overweight and want to live a healthier life. There is an old apple orchard that we walk/hike through that has become our favorite spot. Last weekend was the NYC marathon and I decided I really want to run a marathon BUT I need to train because I have little to no experience running. So I think this pack will come in handy when I’m training. I can take it along with me and have a delicious snack at the end of the run:)
This would be great to take the family out to a state park and go on a nature hike! We could use the Nature Valley snacks for food to keep us, fill the water bottle (and a few more), and try to see how many different animals we could spot with the bionoculars! My boys would love to do this, and because we live in Texas its still really nice here until January! Thanks for the giveaway:)
well go to Lake Skinner in the motor home & hike around the lake to the north one day & eat the Roasted Almond & the Nut Lovers ….. while looking at birds through the binnoculars, then the next day well hike around the lake towards the south & eat the Roasted Cashew & the Honey Roasted Peanuts while looking for deer & other wildlife in the binnoculars it will B A fun time !!!!!!!!!!!!! PS we won’t share any of our nut clusters with the squirrls either .
cool giveaway, guys–i’m planning to go camping end of july (somewhere near mammoth was mentioned)!
this would be great to share with everyone!
I guess I would not get this in time for the Foodbuzz festival
What a generous and fun give away!
Hiking with Lilly of course!!!
)
My 7 year old son loves nature. He has been wanting to go on a family camping trip for quite some time now. We have some really beautiful parks and camp grounds here in Texas. If I win, I would grant my son’s wishes and we would pack these goodies with us and go on a weekend camping trip and use these goodies while hiking through the trails and getting great views of all the beauty nature has to offer. Hopefully the wild animals will be nice to us. If they are, I might even think of sharing some of the nuts.
since i’m always so darn hungry at work waiting for lunch to come around (like now), I probably will eat them then..and the gear I’ll put in the trunk as emergency equipments…cuz you just never know when the next big one will come and we’ll have to rough it.
This would be so awesome–I’m a vegetarian, so I’d use the nut clusters for protein snacks. And I’ve been looking for a good water bottle like that one! I’d put it to good use
theonlinenannyATgmailDOTcom
I’m currently trying to convert to veganism so this would definitely help me with my protein goals. I would use the reusable bag and bottle anywhere, from packing daily lunches, to running to the library for a great read on a chilly day, or to the park for a last picnic before the winter nip.
As for the binoculars, not only would it be great for catching some great sights on an autumn hiking trip, but I always had this idea of communicating to the likes of the aborigines, but instead of using smoke signals, wouldn’t it be amazing to communicate with a friend on the next mountain peak using two pairs of binoculars?
I would use it to take the kids on nature walks, they love walking in the woods!
I am one of a family of eight. My whole family would love to eat these and we often go camping so it would come in handy. Please enter me in the giveaway:)
Thanks!
What a great prize pack! I’m taking my grandkids on a big backyard adventure. We are going to pack up our clusters and some water in our new bottle. We are going to take the flashlight to look for new species of bugs and the binoculars are going to come in handy for finding creatures of the night. We can pack it all into the wonderful bag and off we go! Thank you so much!
I would use these for snacks and when we go to the park! i would love to win!
Well, the Nature Valley Nut Clusters I plan on eating. I might even share them!!
We take our grandkids for a walk everyday. The backpack would come in handy for holding all the things we need for our walk. We have the camera, wipes, snacks, drinks, and the toy of the day that has to go with us. Plus I’d have to water bottle for me.
A few times a month we go to a nature trail near us and explore. We’ve seen some hawks in the area so the binoculars would be handy to see them.
Trust me we would use it almost every day!!
Wow!
I would go to sea to admire sunrise and sunset eating nuts!
I would give this to my daughter. Who deserves it since we moved to a hotel for a month!!!!! She has been a trooper and deserves something special.
Well now, this seems perfect to do a bit of wildlife watching with. I think a few scattering of nuts (“sharing is caring” my mum said) for the squirrels and birds here and there on our hikes would mean I could happily watch (with binoculars, of course) as we make our way through valley and hill.
Well clearly this gift package just screams out “use me in nature” so I’d have to obey! My husband is a big camping guy, and I love taking hikes – since we’ve moved to the northeast we haven’t had many opportunities to see what nature has to offer outside of the Boston buildings…so the plan would be to happily use these items to get out of city-life and explore a new trail in the great northeast!
I would take this on our trip to Universal in Florida in December. And I LOVE these little snacks!
I love to canoe down the Alafia River in Tampa but it is not without it’s challenges! First, the heat (almost year round) make it very hard to pack snacks and sencond, the heat (almost year round) means hydration is very important. What better to take then Nature Valley snack and a water bottle in a cool backpack (room is also an issue! Also, love the binos, I refuse to take my good one, just in case we tip over. I don’t mind being in the water for a minute but I am not going to stay long looking for my binos, the alligators start circling:-) PS I love nuts, I am kind of nutty that way!!!!
I don’t like to camp, but I do like to watch the urban wildlife – i.e., crazy people, winos, etc. – in my city of Baltimore. So many restaurants have closed here, there’s not much else to do. But you have to keep your distance! The binoculars would be a lifesaver – literally!!!
I know exactly how I’d use this gift pack! This is the perfect sized bag for strapping onto my luggage rack on the motorcycle and then I’d have snacks and a drink when I pull over to take a break or get gas. Then, the pack could be used by my son on his hiking trip later in the month. He could share the snacks (if there are any left) with his friends and use the cool binoculars to view wildlife.
Well, I’d probably eat the snacks asap … But I’d use the backpack, binoculars, flashlight, and thermos during the summertime for symphony in the park or met opera in the park in NYC’s central park. Binoculars to watch see the performers, I’m usually pretty far back, tho peeping at everyone’s food is fun too! Flashlight to find my friends, or my way to the restroom … and of course the thermos to store my vodka, uh … i mean water so i don’t get dehydrated!
wonderful giveaway! I love nature valley stuff especially their oat bars
I would use this pack to take my girlfriend on a hike it would come in so handy. It has everything we need should we get lost again. Last time we went on a hike we ended up camping lost and only had one bag of the granola nut clusters to eat so 4 would be much better. The flashlight would have helped me find the trail that I lost and the binoculars would have been handy. More water is always a good thing. I think that if I won this pack I would the girlfriend would go on adventures again with more faith that we would not get lost.
Well, I would share the the gift pack if I won it. First off, the nuts would go to my dear husband, he loves nuts and is one too! The flashlight would go to my great nephew who has a HUGE infatuation with flash lights now. The back pack would be perfect for my unorganized son who really needs to get all his small photography equipment into one travel bag for on site shoots. I hate drinking water and love watching birds, so the bottle and the binoculars would be a gift to me! Maybe I would be inspired to drink water while bird watching! Thanks for sharing your gift.
Our daughter is getting married December 5th in Kauai, Hawaii. On the days my husband and I have alone we plan to backpack the of the beautiful mountain areas to secluded waters falls hidden away from the public. We will rest, relax, swim and picnic before our hike back. The backpack with all of the healthy snacks are exactly what we were planning!!!!
Great Timing,
LeslieMichele
If I win the Nature Valley Gift Pack, I will use it when I go hiking in the woods with my new dog, Aurora (a German Shepherd & Catahoula mix – she’s beautiful!). At the halfway point on the trail, about an 1 1/2 hrs into the hike, there is a gorgeous overlook onto a prairie where we hop on a bench and enjoy the view. We share a nice, cool drink of water together, and it would be wonderful to have an environmentally friendly thermos to hold water for us and use the binoculars to get a closer look at the animals drinking from the creek down below. Plus those nut clusters are so tasty and would help keep my energy up on the trail. We hike at least twice a week since my pup has so much energy – normal walks around the neighborhood are not enough for her! – so this gift pack would get plenty of use.
If I win this fine giveaway I will use it when we hike the Tetons come spring. Guess I’ll probably do some of the snaking before then. Thanks for the wonderful giveaway
What an awesome giveaway! We would use this giftpack to take along on a trip to Blue Mountains – fall foliage is gorgeous there right now and we have been promising to take our daughter for a while now plus she loves snacks with nuts!
Glad your back – can’t wait to go back and read about your wonderful trip!
And if you pick me for the giveaway – I’d appreciate it!
I plan to take this backpack on my daily hike through New York City’s urban jungle. I’ll stave my hunger with Nature Valley snacks and keep myself warm with hot soup from the thermos while I wait in the countless number of lines that I stand in day in and day out. I’ll use the binoculars and flashlight to see how much closer I am to checkout. And after I’ve gone through all of my snacks, I’ll refill it with more Nature Valley snacks for when I go hiking in neighboring Brooklyn.
This gift would help make a perfect weekend for me and my young sons. We’d pack up the backpack full of the Nature Valley clusters, grab the binoculars and water bottle and go out for a hike. There is one place in particular I’ve been wanting to take them. It is a walk out island that is the home to dozens and dozens of fairy houses. Children of all ages go out for a hike there and build (using found items in nature) a happy abode for a magical woodland creature.
If I won this gift pack I would use it this deer season while camping!
I adore the cashew mix! Yum!
I would use the binoculars to spot the best and freshest produce in the grocery store, then sneak around trying to find super sales and unique items. Sometimes those interesting things are up so high I can’t read the labels
This would be great for a couple mile hike. I have an annual pass to Skyline Drive in VA and the views are unbelievable!
If I won…I would first lay claim to the roasted almond bag and guard it with my life…The other packs I would throw in the bag and take it along on the long road trips back and forth to Chemo for mom…with 5 kids in the car we are always looking for snacks that wont get them crazy from sugar and won’t make me tired as I do all the driving. Thanks for the chance to win a cool healthy prize.
P.S. The binoculars would keep the kids busy while we wait for mom to finish up her treatments…We tend to feed the birds alot…we could finally get a close up of our feathered little friends! Thanks again!
Nice giveaway. Come to my blog http://www.cybercook’scookingcorner.blogspot.com , scroll down to the HAPPY THANKSGIVING post, leave a comment and you are entered to win a $50.00 amazon.com gc.
nut clusters, i would store them in my pockets for the winter, and munch on them for snacks
This is great!! We have a Christmas gifts for seniors drive going on at the school where I am an instructor. This would make a great contribution to that cause. I just imagine the recipient opening this gift and feeling so special.
Since winter is approaching here, it would be perfect to keep in my car for emergencies! Plus the snacks would be great for the emergency situation when the kids are hungry on the way to or from dance, lol. Looks like a great kit!
I would use this for a family hike. We are trying to find more things to do as a family of 3 teenagers! This would be nice!!
I’ll take this whole package to Vietnam with me!!!! wooohoo! Most likely I will give away the snacks to the little kids in Vietnam… But with the bag, bonoculars, water bottle… I would totally take that on my hike through the trails in VN! Got me a new camera, so this bag would be perfect for me to store my camera in! I’ll take photos of all the exotic food for you guys in VN!… including stuff you see from Chef Corbain on the food network.
lol!
I’d prolly eat them with yogurt for a healthy breakfast. These would also be great for times when I feel like snacking =)
How would I use this prize pack? Well, I’d eat the delcious nature valley clusters of course. :/ What a silly question.
My daughter & I already go for walks through the woods; we’d just take these with us. Thanks for the great giveaway!
