October Giveaway – 4 Bottles of Girard’s Premium Salad Dressing

Published by at 9:08 pm under Contests and Giveaways

This month we have a fantastic giveaway that we are so excited to share with you! Back in July, we received a generous package from Girard’s that consisted of a variety of their premium salad dressings like Champagne and their 3 newest flavors – Apple Poppyseed, Creamy Balsamic, and Peach Mimosa. It was our first time trying Girard’s dressings, and it came at a great time in the summer when we had plenty of salad in the garden to prepare it with. Daniel was very fond of the Champagne dressing, while I was a sucker for the Creamy Balsamic. Each flavor is unique in its own way and besides using it for salads, there are many recipe ideas you can get from their website.

By way of background, Girard’s salad dressing was created in San Francisco by Chef Pierre Girard in 1939. Chef Girard started with a recipe for Original French dressing, and gradually added varieties. Girard’s dressings gained prominence for their premium quality and distinctive triangular bottle. You can find Girard’s in the specialty dressing section of your supermarket.

But if you are feeling lucky, you may have the opportunity to win Girard’s Premium Salad Dressing in this month’s giveaway! And the best part is that your chances of winning are even higher because we are able to have 5 winners, each receiving a 4-Bottle package of Girard’s.

Girard's Peach Mimosa dressing was great in this colorful and fruity salad.

I have to say that I’m torn between the Apple Poppyseed & the Champagne…But if I had to choose, I’d go with Champagne, just because it sounds more decadent!

I would say it’s a toss up between the peach mimosa and the apple poppyseed . . . but if I had to pick one it would have to be peach mimosa. Since summer has come to an end just having the “taste” of summer on my salad I’d be happy happy!!! ;-)

I am intrigued by the peach mimosa because of all of the wonderful things I could use it for besides a salad dressing. I can imagine using Girard’s Peach Mimosa dressing as a thirty minute marinade for fresh caught Copper River Salmon simply seasoned with crack peper and sea salt then grilled over a cedar plank. I would serve the salmon over a wild green salad lightly tossed with Girards’ peach mimosa dressing then topped with toasted macadamia nuts, slivers of prosciutto and sliced cantalope.
