Spicy Golden Curry with Chicken
Digging through our pantry, we found a box of Golden Curry that we bought at the Asian market. We figure it would be a simple dish to cook with chicken and the vegetables we had on hand. This instant curry option helps us when we don’t want to prepare it from scratch. We’ve used this brand many times and would definitely recommend it. All you have to do is add meat and vegetables!

Chop up some garlic, onions, carrots, and potatoes - these are the staples of the curry meal.

This is the box of Japanese Golden Curry that we occasionally buy from the market. Each box contains two packages, so you definitely get your money's worth. We always buy the "Hot" flavor because the level of spiciness gives it a kick.

Per the picture, cook all the vegetables first. When it gets softer, add 1.5 cups of chicken stock, then add the chicken to the pot. Continue cooking everything for a few minutes before putting the curry sauce in. The piece of curry looks like a block of chocolate, doesn't it? As it heats up, it will melt and create the dark curry color. It should be ready when the chicken is completely cooked and the vegetables are soft.

The curry sauce is thick and flavorful, which is perfect to eat with rice. If you don't like it spicy, you can purchase the "Mild" flavor. Don't forget to add additional seasonings like salt and pepper, or parsley, to your desired taste. As you can see, this is an easy meal to make!
